ME+EM Edinburgh
Partnering with London-based Edward John Milton Studio to consult on the interior of ME+EM's newly opened flagship store in Edinburgh.
Tina's vision for the Victorian property was to create a harmonious space: one that fused the building's existing architectural features with Ed's modern, detail oriented approach to create a relaxed, timeless interior. The result is a reflection of the ME+EM aesthetic as well as that of a typical British home.
The colour palette of soft pink plaster hand applied to the walls, they developed a range of fixtures and bespoke, one-off pieces of furniture in harmonising tones, incorporating Tina's signature use of resin and ceramics.
One of the standout features of the store, a large communal bench, gives hint to the Victorian style, standing out against the backdrop of mustard coloured drapery and a monochromatic tiled floor.
The result of Tina and Ed's partnership is a luxuriously inviting store that has been sensitively restored and enhanced throught their considered approach to design and innovative use of materials.
