Frieze Art Fair x Matches Fashion

Working cross functionally between Matches Fashion, Frieze and the appointed artists. Upon entering the whole space covered with a Matches Marble treatment. A section of the perimeter wall housed TVs with specially designed wooden frames to display products. The designer Craig Green collaborated with artist Saelia Aparicio, who painted wall hangings and hand crafted wooden stools. Walter and Zoniel created a photographic box for visitors to interact with.

Creating the first Matches Fashion space for Frieze NYC where specific sets were designed for artists. The space which invoked the aesthetic of 5 Carlos Place housed two private shopping suites. Bespoke rails were manufactured to showcase the curated collections of products. Grace Wales Bonner collaborated with the photographer Nick Sethi to create a vignette showcasing his work alongside a set with brass music rails for product displays. Artist and activist Faith Ringgold curated original pieces from her collection of murals and wall hangings.
